anniversary
One year ago, Jeff and I got married in Las Vegas. So of course we had to celebrate by... going back to Vegas. This time we stayed downtown, at Binion's on Fremont Street, and had a super fab time. Steaks were eaten, penny slots were played, cocktails were consumed, Elvis was impersonated, and people were watched. I love people-watching, aren't humans interesting?
Here's the post I did a year ago about the wedding, and here's a post I did about doing a reception on the cheep. Yeah, our wedding was pink pink pink (see Rain's photos of it here. Thanks Rain!).
One year! Wow.
This, by the way, is a photo of the tip of the old (1967) lamp from the Aladdin on the Strip. It was refurbished in the last few years and is now displayed on Fremont Street along with a lot of other old signs, including lots of neon. Beautiful.

we got married in vegas, too...i think this year is our 3rd anniversary...4th? whoa! it was sooo fun. we had about 20 friends and family and snackies at a cool brewery and it was great. i didn't wear a veil though, but my hair was giant, i will send you a link.
and the doll you made is gorgeous. i am afeared of the sewing machine and do everything by hand, despite the fact that i own a sewing machine, passed on to me by a friend. i am scared i will sew my hand or get a needle in the eye. and i fear it is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Happy 1st! I enjoyed looking at the pics again - what a fun weekend that was (talk about people-watching in the various pool-laden courtyard of the Flamingo!) and such a lovely wedding! Did you go to any karaoke bars this time? :)

My husband and I got married in Vegas, too - six years ago! We did the whole Elvis Wedding Chapel thing, and I think that was the best way to do it!
