rosa

I love making toys and I love toys that other people make. Some of the most lovely dolls I've seen come from the mind and hands of Rosa Pomar, and I was so pleased to purchase one of them recently - and here she is.

Doll by Rosa Pomar

It is exquisite. It's art you can squeeze, and how cool is that?

Good choice. I love Rosa's creations.

So do you knit with Anny Blatt angora? This will be my first time, but I love the fuzziness of it before I even start.

I've never actually knitted anything with it - I have one skein and I keep trying to come up with the perfect use for it. I really like just looking at it...

Very cute - I especially love how the fabric has so much movement. What I love best about handmade toys are the unique expressions. I find myself projecting all kinds of attributes to the animal/person/creature based upon the minute set of the eyes, nose, mouth, etc.
